Duties Construct metal stud frameworks according to detailed construction plans and schematics, ensuring structural integrity and precision. Hang drywall panels securely on walls and ceilings using appropriate hand tools and power tools, following safety protocols. Perform drywall taping, mudding, texturing, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or further finishing work. Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless spray equipment to enhance interior and exterior surfaces with attention to detail. Install fixtures such as doors, trim carpentry elements, and other hardware as specified in project plans. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to ensure all framing, drywall, and finishing work aligns with project specifications. Maintain strict adherence to construction workplace safety regulations while operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Skills Extensive experience with drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans for accurate project execution. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings effectively. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, drills, screw guns, trowels, and caulking guns; comfortable with power tools including nail guns and sanders. Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence at all times. Experience with metal stud framing systems for interior partitions and exterior walls. Familiarity with related trades such as plastering, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing (including water damage restoration), restoration industry practices, and remodeling projects. Ability to work efficiently on construction sites while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
