Job Overview 911 Restoration of South Shore is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Remodeling Technician to join our team and bring expert craftsmanship to a variety of renovation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality remodeling work across residential and commercial spaces, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will help transform spaces through precise carpentry, installation, and finishing techniques, contributing to our reputation for excellence in remodeling services. Duties Perform comprehensive remodeling tasks including drywall installation, flooring, cabinetry, trim carpentry, and painting to meet project specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently to execute various construction activities. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and ensure precise execution. Assist with our mitigation division if needed Install fixtures such as lighting, plumbing fixtures, glass panels, doors, and cabinets with attention to detail and quality standards. Conduct construction inspections and quality checks throughout each phase of the project to ensure compliance with safety codes and design plans. Coordinate with team members on site management, material handling, and scheduling to optimize workflow and meet deadlines. Assist with restoration work including stucco application, masonry repairs, concrete finishing, roofing repairs, and heavy equipment operation as needed. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in remodeling projects across residential settings. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation. Skilled in drywall installation, flooring installation (tile, hardwood), trim carpentry, fixture installation, and painting techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. Electrical experience including wiring basics or electrical work certification is preferred but not required. Knowledge of plumbing systems and fixture installation processes is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites along with the ability to identify hazards proactively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to adapt quickly to changing project needs.
