Summary As a Drywall Hanger and Finisher, you will play a key role in the seamless completion of interior builds. Reporting to the construction supervisor, you will interpret blueprints, install drywall, and perform mudding, finishing, and repairs to achieve smooth, paint-ready surfaces. You will maintain strict safety practices, use hand tools proficiently, and ensure adherence to construction plans. Your combined core and premium skills in drywall installation, safety, and estimating will contribute to efficient project progress and high-quality workmanship on every job. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction blueprints and plans to determine drywall placement, sizing, and layout. Install drywall sheets, secure with screws or nails, and ensure proper alignment and detailing. Tape, mud, sand, and finish joints; apply textures as required; repair damaged drywall and plaster surfaces. Maintain clean work area, adhere to safety regulations, and operate hand tools and readily available equipment. Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and address site challenges. Qualifications Proficient in drywall installation, mudding, finishing, and repair Strong blueprint reading and ability to follow construction plans Knowledge of safety regulations, tool usage, and construction site protocols Experience with plastering, trim carpentry, caulking, and basic fixture installation Background in construction site work and general carpentry; ability to work with water-damage restoration as needed
