In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall in a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities Measure, cut, and hang drywall sheets accurately according to construction plans and schematics Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine layout and installation procedures Apply drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing techniques to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or further finishing Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for drywall installation, repair, and finishing tasks Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture mounting as needed for comprehensive wall systems Perform drywall repairs including patching holes, water damage restoration, and mold remediation to maintain quality standards Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols during all phases of work Experience Proven experience as a drywall hanger or in a similar construction role with a focus on drywall installation and finishing Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting schematics Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and best practices for working at heights and around heavy equipment Hands-on experience with drywall texturing, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, and painting is highly desirable Background in related fields such as carpentry, remodeling, masonry or restoration industry experience is a plus Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively while maintaining a focus on safety protocol adherence Construction experience involving plumbing (including water damage restoration), framing (metal stud framing), stucco application, airless paint spraying, or fixture installation is advantageous Join our team today if you're passionate about delivering top-quality drywall solutions with precision and enthusiasm!
