Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth, seamless appearance that meets high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform raw construction projects into polished, professional spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to residential developments, contributing directly to the aesthetic and structural integrity of each site. Responsibilities Apply joint compound, tape, and other finishing materials to drywall surfaces for a flawless finish. Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to prepare them for painting or other finishes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately complete drywall finishing tasks. Install drywall accessories such as corner beads, trims, and moldings with precision. Collaborate with carpenters, plasterers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of drywall with framing, plumbing, and electrical systems. Perform repairs on water damage or mold remediation issues by restoring drywall surfaces effectively. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to achieve consistent results across various projects. Experience Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site procedures. Knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading is highly desirable. Familiarity with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and metal stud framing enhances your versatility. Hands-on experience in restoration industry tasks such as water damage restoration and mold remediation is a plus. Skills in fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and airless paint spraying are beneficial.
