Job Overview Interior Remodeling Technician Jim's Home Service LLC is looking for a well-rounded, experienced interior remodeling technician who can work alongside us on residential home-improvement projects. We are looking for someone who is comfortable doing more than one trade . The right person should have solid hands-on experience with carpentry, interior painting, tile work, drywall, bathroom remodeling, and general interior renovation work . You should be able to look at a project, understand what needs to be done, and perform quality work without needing to be taught every basic step. Requirements:

Residential remodeling experience Experience with carpentry, painting, tile, drywall, and interior renovations Able to work independently and as part of a small team Reliable and dependable Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Must have your own basic hand tools Must be willing to travel to residential job sites Ability to maintain a clean and professional work area We are looking for a skilled, dependable, well-rounded tradesperson who takes pride in his work and wants to stay busy when projects are available. Install flooring materials such as tile, hardwood, laminate, or carpet with accuracy and attention to detail. Execute trim carpentry tasks including baseboards, crown molding, door casings, and custom millwork. Handle electrical work related to lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and wiring upgrades in remodeling projects. Manage plumbing installations and repairs for sinks, fixtures, and related systems during interior renovations. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise execution of design specifications. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality standards and adherence to safety protocols on-site. Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely progress and communicate any issues or delays promptly. Skills Extensive experience with drywall installation, taping, sanding, and finishing techniques. Proficiency in flooring installation including tile laying and hardwood, laminate flooring techniques. Strong carpentry skills encompassing framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and trim work. Knowledge of electrical systems including wiring schematics and fixture installation. Skilled in plumbing repairs and installations relevant to interior remodeling projects. Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and effectively. Experience in construction estimating and managing project timelines efficiently. Excellent blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of schematics and plans. Capable of performing masonry work like concrete forming or finishing when required.
