Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywaller to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet high-quality standards. Duties Measure, cut, and install drywall panels accurately according to construction plans and schematics Tape, mud, sand, and texture drywall surfaces to achieve a seamless finish Repair damaged drywall or perform restoration work including water damage remediation and mold remediation Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation Use hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, fastening, and finishing drywall materials Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, masons, and other trades to coordinate project tasks Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, door hanging, and perform drywall texturing as needed Follow construction safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe work environment on-site Assist with framing using metal studs or wood as required for drywall mounting Perform drywall taping and mudding for smooth wall surfaces in preparation for painting or finishing Skills Extensive experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair techniques Strong knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools such as knives, t-squares, screw guns; familiarity with power tools including drills and sanders Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Skilled in working with metal stud framing and plastering techniques for various wall systems Experience with related trades such as carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, painting (including airless paint spraying), masonry or remodeling is a plus Ability to perform water damage restoration or mold remediation tasks when necessary Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints and fixtures effectively Familiarity with the use of schematics for fixture installation or renovation projects Handyman experience or general construction experience is highly valued for versatility on-site Join our team if you're passionate about delivering top-quality craftsmanship while maintaining a safe work environment!
