Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Construction Subcontractor operating on a 1099 basis to join our team. Subcontractor must have reliable transportation to job sites and/or the office depending on the assignment . For jobs further away, plans can be arranged to meet at headquarters and carpool with our technicians. On average we are able to provide 20-40 hours a week. Responsibilities Interpret technical instructions and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications Perform a wide range of construction tasks including but not limited to commercial and residential drywall installation, flooring, tile roofing, bathroom and kitchen remodels, exteriors, home building, painting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete building material installation and remodeling projects Execute the scopes and ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project standards Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools; follow construction plans meticulously Install gutters, doors, windows, and other fixtures with precision while adhering to project timelines Use software for digital plan review and project documentation Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper ladder use procedures and safety protocols Collaborate with clients by providing excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring their needs are met. Perform smaller repairs independently for both residential and commercial clients while maintaining professionalism, care, and quality results Willingness to learn trades from our skilled technicians while on the job. Ability to handle fast paced job sites, manual labor, working as a team, and proper communication with diverse clientele.

•This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own liability insurance and providing their own basic tools as required under Pennsylvania guidelines. Nailed It Lancaster LLC provides the larger equipment and materials necessary for each contractor project. Experience Proven experience in construction, remodeling, customer relations, or related roles within the construction industry Extensive hands-on experience with carpentry, masonry, drywall installation, remodeling, roofing, flooring, and fixture mounting Skilled in interpreting technical plans and following detailed construction specs for diverse construction tasks Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, ladders safely, and performing concrete forming or finishing tasks Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Knowledge of building materials and installation techniques for remodeling projects or new constructions Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Join us if you're ready to bring your expertise to exciting projects that challenge your skills!
