Job Description

Renuity is seeking experienced 1099 Bath Installers to complete high-quality tub and shower remodels in occupied homes. As an independent contractor, you'll demo existing bath systems, install new tubs, showers, surrounds, doors, plumbing trim, and accessories, ensuring code compliance and watertight finishes. You'll manage your own tools, truck, and daily workflow while partnering with our local team for materials, scheduling, and support. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, professional, and customer-focused, delivering clean, on-time installations and a five-star homeowner experience on every project. Responsibilities Demolish existing tubs, showers, surrounds, and related bath components safely and cleanly Install new tubs, showers, surrounds, pans, and doors to manufacturer specs and local code Complete basic plumbing tie-ins, including drains, valves, and trim, or coordinate with licensed plumbers as required Ensure proper waterproofing, caulking, and sealing to deliver durable, watertight installations Review job scopes, drawings, and materials before arrival to avoid delays or rework Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and protect homeowners' property throughout the project Communicate professionally with customers and Renuity staff regarding timelines, issues, and change conditions Document work with photos and paperwork, ensuring accurate completion records for each project Provide and maintain your own tools, truck/van, and insurance as a 1099 contractor Adhere to all safety standards, building codes, and Renuity quality guidelines Required Skills Bathroom remodeling Tile and waterproofing installation Plumbing fixture installation Framing and carpentry Caulking and finishing Reading and interpreting plans Jobsite safety and OSHA practices Use of power and hand tools Time and project management Customer communication and service
