$18-22 per hour after training period + raises based on performance and skills learned About Us We are a well-established residential remodeling company that handles complete interior renovations. We specialize in flooring, cabinets, painting, drywall, and finish carpentry. We're looking for a motivated helper/apprentice who is eager to learn the trades from experienced professionals and grow into a skilled carpenter over time. The Role This is a great opportunity for someone just starting out in the trades. You'll work directly with our lead carpenter(s), assisting on a variety of projects including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole-house updates. We will train you and give you real hands-on experience every day. Primary Responsibilities Assist with installation of flooring (hardwood, LVP, engineered) Help with cabinet delivery, setup, and installation Prep, prime, and paint interiors Hang, tape, mud, and sand drywall Install interior trim, baseboards, casing, and other finish carpentry Keep the job site clean and organized Load/unload materials and tools Learn and perform basic demolition and framing support Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times Bonus Skills (Not required - we will train) Any prior tile, electrical, or plumbing experience Tech school or vocational training in carpentry, construction, building trades, or related field Requirements 0-2 years of construction or remodeling experience (recent high school or tech school graduates are encouraged to apply) Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to take direction and learn quickly Physical fitness - able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work on your feet all day Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Clean background and professional attitude (you'll be in clients' homes) Own basic hand tools (we provide most power tools and safety gear) Eagerness to build a long-term career in the trades What We Offer Paid, on-the-job training with experienced lead carpenters Fast-track opportunity to advance and increase pay as you gain skills Steady, year-round work Performance-based raises every 6 months Paid holidays and vacation time Company contribution toward health insurance A supportive team that values hard work and teachable attitude If you're dependable, ready to work hard, and want to learn a valuable skilled trade instead of sitting at a desk, this is a fantastic entry point into the construction industry.
