Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We currently have an opening for a Drywall Technician at our Shippenville Plant. This is an entry-level, full-time position. Positions include all aspects of the finishing of drywall manufactured houses.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Drywall Finishing (tape, coat, sand, paint, touch up). Carpet installation and Trim carpentry Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties Maintains work area is kept clean and organized Follows work orders and instructions on finishing houses Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns and assembly of building components Meeting weekly production goals individually and in a department setting per assigned Department May be cross-trained into other departments to ensure job knowledge progression and a balanced work force Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed Maintain a good attendance record Demonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervisionMINIMUM QUALIFICIATIONS
Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus but not required Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment on a daily basis Ability to be trained and take direction Ability to work in a team with others Must be 18 years of age Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical The scheduled work week is Monday thru Friday, occasional Overtime and Saturday work may be required Must have a reliable way to get to and from workPay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:
