Currently, we are looking for Drywall Finishers in Amarillo, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply drywall tape and joint compound to seams, corners, and fastener indentations. Smooth and feather joint compound to create an even finish across all surfaces. Sand, level, and inspect finished areas to ensure high-quality, smooth surfaces. Apply multiple coats of mud as required, allowing proper drying time between coats. Repair and patch imperfections or damaged drywall surfaces. Mix, prepare, and maintain appropriate consistencies of mud and finishing materials. Use hand tools (trowels, knives, sanders) and power tools (sanding machines) safely. Install corner bead, drywall patches, and other finishing components. Texture walls or ceilings using spray rigs or hand-applied methods as required. Ensure job site cleanliness, safety, and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Tape and Float Mudder or drywall finisher. Strong knowledge of drywall materials, tools, and finishing techniques. Ability to achieve smooth, quality finishes with minimal sanding. Physical stamina and ability to lift materials and work on ladders/scaffolding. Attention to detail and ability to spot surface imperfections. Reliable transportation and strong work ethic. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
