Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute remodeling projects. Install bathroom fixtures such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, cabinets, and countertops with attention to detail. Perform tile masonry work including laying tiles on floors, walls, and shower surrounds to create durable and visually appealing surfaces. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for framing, drywall installation, caulking, plastering, and finishing work. Conduct plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring proper connections and compliance with building codes. Manage construction materials by measuring dimensions accurately with tape measures and fabricating custom pieces as needed. Follow safety protocols on-site including ladder use and proper handling of electrical and plumbing components. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision while providing expert advice on remodeling options. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to project timelines and specifications. Inspect completed work for quality assurance before project handover to ensure customer satisfaction. Skills Proficiency in bluebeam software for digital plan review and project documentation. Strong construction management skills to coordinate tasks efficiently across multiple projects. Experience in construction estimating to accurately assess project costs and materials needed. Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Skilled in plumbing, electrical work, tile laying, framing carpentry, door hanging, flooring installation, gutter installation, and fixture installation. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints precisely for accurate execution of remodeling plans. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, tape measures, and fabrication equipment. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients throughout the remodeling process. Experience in working on construction sites with a focus on building material installation and remodeling projects.
