We're looking for someone who: Has welding and/or fabrication experience Can accurately read a tape measure Is comfortable using power tools Can handle physical, hands-on work Shows up on time and is dependable Takes pride in doing quality work Can work well as part of a team Experience in welding, metal fabrication, construction, steel buildings, or similar trades is a big plus. Skills and Characteristics Knowledge in operation of different tools Knowledge in many aspects of building repairs work Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions Attention to detail Ability to multitask Must be a team player and treat co-workers with respect Must have reliable transportation Duties and Responsibilities General construction: metal work, welding, cutting, etc. Pick up equipment, tools and clean work site at the end of the work job Physical/Mental Demands Ability to reach and lift materials weighing up to 70 Lbs. Manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance. Ability to stand, walk and move rapidly for an extended amount of time. Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn, climb stairs and on trucks.
