In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces on various commercial and residential projects. Duties Measure, cut, and hang drywall panels accurately according to construction plans and schematics Secure drywall sheets using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and taping knives Apply drywall mud (joint compound) for seamless finishing, including taping, mudding, and sanding surfaces Repair damaged drywall or existing surfaces with precision to restore integrity and appearance Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure proper installation aligned with project specifications Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes Follow all construction safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, or related construction work Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, utility knives, and measuring tapes; proficient with power tools including drills and sanders Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols Experience with metal stud framing, ceiling installation, or plastering is a plus Strong understanding of construction plans and ability to interpret technical instructions Prior construction site experience demonstrating reliability and teamwork skills

$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
