The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing various finishing tasks to ensure smooth, professional-looking walls and ceilings. This role involves applying drywall tape, mudding, repairing drywall surfaces, and texturing to achieve high-quality results that meet project specifications. The Drywall Finisher plays a crucial part in delivering finished spaces that are ready for painting and final touches. Responsibilities Perform drywall taping to seal joints and seams for a seamless surface. Apply drywall mud (joint compound) to create smooth, even finishes on walls and ceilings. Repair damaged drywall surfaces, including patching holes and fixing imperfections. Texturize drywall surfaces to match desired aesthetic finishes or existing textures. Ensure all finishing work adheres to safety standards and quality expectations. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Maintain a clean work area and properly handle tools and materials throughout the job. Experience Prior experience in drywall finishing, taping, mudding, or related construction trades is preferred. Knowledge of drywall repair techniques and texturing methods is advantageous. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
