Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Punch-out Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing punch-out procedures—completing final touches and ensuring all aspects of a project meet quality standards before project completion. Your expertise will help us deliver flawless results, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a broad range of construction skills, including blueprint reading, fixture installation, and various finishing trades. Duties Complete punch-out lists on new construction homes prior to closing Perform minor repairs including drywall, paint touch-ups, trim, caulking, and hardware adjustments Install and adjust doors, cabinets, fixtures, and basic carpentry items Address warranty and service requests in occupied homes as needed Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to prioritize work Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites Identify and report larger issues that require subcontractor involvement Ensure all work meets company quality standards and homeowner expectations Experience 2+ years of experience in residential construction or handyman work Strong knowledge of general carpentry, drywall, and finishing trades Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with homeowners Basic tools required (company may provide specialty tools) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Competitive pay + vehicle allowance or company truck Steady, year-round work Opportunity for growth into superintendent
Pay:
