JOB SUMMARY

Creative Business Interiors, a commercial interiors firm, has an immediate opening for a Journeyperson Painter with proven experience. Must be proficient in all aspects of painting, taping, spraying and vinyl wallcovering per the Union's specifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Drywall taping

skillfully tape and finish joints, preparing drywall surfaces for painting. Painting
expertly apply decorative and protective coatings (paint, stain, etc.) to a variety of surfaces. Wallcovering
provide high-quality installation of wallcovering, including wall murals and custom graphics.

QUALIFICATIONS

Journeyperson status with proven experience. Able to plan for and follow layout drawings and install patterns. Experience measuring for and ordering paint and wallcovering materials. Familiar with creating custom stain matches. Candidate must be comfortable working with heights and able to lift up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis. Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Able to work independently or with a team in a corporate environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Good mechanical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Process-driven and detail-oriented. Strong written and verbal communication. Enjoy and excel in customer interaction.
