In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and commercial facilities. Your energy and enthusiasm will contribute to ensuring electrical projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical work while supporting the development of essential skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with the installation and wiring of electrical systems, including conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical blueprint reading. Support the setup and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other equipment safely to perform electrical tasks under supervision. Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to aid in system installation and troubleshooting. Help with conduit installation, electrical wiring, and low voltage system setup on construction sites. Follow strict safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections. Experience Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice in industrial or commercial electrical projects is preferred. Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards is highly desirable. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), electrical blueprint reading, and interpretation is advantageous. Experience using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and conducting electrical work such as wiring or conduit bending is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while adhering to safety protocols. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills on the job.
