This paid position offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled electricians on diverse construction projects. You will develop your skills in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and safety protocols while contributing to exciting residential and light commercial developments. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow, and build a solid foundation in electrical trade practices. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup. Support the testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices. Help with the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Contribute to the organization of materials, tools, and equipment needed for daily tasks and projects. Requirements Must have some experience or familiarity with electrical work, including construction site experience or related trades such as frame carpentry. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical components. Strong interest in learning about industrial and commercial electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work safely in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills. Reliable transportation to job sites; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
