Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Contract Advance your career in medical imaging as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray procedures. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential diagnostic services, supporting patient care while operating advanced imaging equipment.

Qualifications and Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required State license or eligibility as a Radiologic Technologist Experience in performing diagnostic X-ray procedures in a clinical or hospital setting Knowledge of radiation safety best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across care teams Proficiency with imaging equipment and related clinical software Ability to handle patient transfers and multiple priorities efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and established protocols Operate X-ray equipment safely and ensure optimal image quality Educate, position, and immobilize patients to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort Adhere to sterile technique and infection prevention policies Maintain accurate records, submit images and clinical information for radiologist interpretation Monitor and maintain department supplies, ensuring efficient workflow Supervise and provide guidance to student radiographers in a clinical environment Administer and prepare contrast material under radiologist guidance Ensure ALARA principles are upheld to prioritize staff and patient safety Communicate openly and responsively with patients, colleagues, and supervising staff This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in radiologic technology, impacting patient outcomes in a collaborative and supportive environment.
