We are a small, locally owned electrical contractor working primarily in residential new construction, remodels, service work, troubleshooting, and light commercial projects. We're looking for someone who already has hands-on electrical experience and wants to continue learning and growing in the trade. This is not an entry-level position for someone completely new to electrical work. You don't need to know everything, but you should be able to step onto a jobsite, understand the basics, and contribute to the crew while continuing to develop your skills. Responsibilities Assist with residential and light commercial electrical installations Perform residential rough-in and trim work Pull and route wire and cable Install boxes, receptacles, switches, lighting, and electrical equipment Assist with remodels, service work, troubleshooting, and electrical upgrades Read and follow plans, layouts, and instructions Safely and efficiently use common electrical hand and power tools Keep jobsites, materials, and company equipment clean and organized Follow electrical code requirements and safe work practices Communicate with the crew when questions or problems come up Requirements Previous hands-on electrical field experience required Residential electrical experience strongly preferred Colorado Electrical Apprentice Registration preferred Familiarity with common electrical materials, tools, and installation methods Ability to perform basic electrical tasks after being given direction Must provide and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools commonly used in the electrical trade Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to jobsites throughout Northern Colorado Ability to lift 50+ pounds and safely work from ladders Dependable attendance and good communication Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility as your skills improve Ability to work well with a small crew and take pride in clean, professional work We are not looking for someone completely green to the electrical trade at this time. The right candidate should already have enough experience to be productive on a residential jobsite while continuing to learn under experienced electricians. Pay $22-$26 per hour , depending on electrical experience and skill level. Pay within the range will be based on previous electrical experience, demonstrated abilities, and how independently the applicant can perform common residential electrical tasks. Schedule Monday through Friday, primarily daytime hours Hours vary depending on project workload and scheduling This position may range from part-time to full-time hours 40 hours per week are not guaranteed Occasional overtime or longer days may be available when project schedules require it We want to be upfront about this. We are a growing small business, and workload can fluctuate depending on project schedules.
