Company Description Contigo Electric, Inc. is a commercial electrical contractor specializing in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and commercial buildouts. We provide comprehensive commercial electrical services and are committed to safe work practices, quality installations, and developing dependable members of our field team. Position Overview We are currently hiring for an upcoming commercial project in the West Palm Bay area with a fast-approaching start date. Contigo Electric is seeking motivated Electrical Helpers to join the project team. Electrical Helpers will work under the direction of experienced Electricians, Foremen, and the project Superintendent while assisting with commercial electrical installations and day-to-day field activities. This is a strong opportunity for individuals with construction or electrical experience who are dependable, willing to work, and interested in continuing to develop their skills in the electrical trade. Responsibilities Assist electricians with the installation of conduit, wiring, boxes, supports, lighting, devices, and electrical equipment. Assist with pulling, routing, and organizing wire and cable. Measure, cut, prepare, and stage electrical materials. Assist with conduit installation and basic layout under supervision. Stage tools, ladders, equipment, and materials for upcoming work. Load, unload, move, and organize jobsite materials. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Safely use basic hand and power tools as directed. Follow instructions from Electricians, Foremen, and project supervision. Assist crews with maintaining productivity and keeping work areas prepared. Follow all company and project safety requirements, including proper PPE. Assist with punch-list work and general project completion activities. Learn proper commercial electrical installation methods and work practices. Qualifications Previous electrical or commercial construction experience preferred. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a crew. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Basic familiarity with construction hand and power tools preferred. Ability to perform physical construction work, including lifting and carrying materials and working from ladders as required. Commitment to safe work practices and maintaining an organized jobsite. Reliable transportation to the project site. Electrical apprenticeship, trade-school experience, or related training is a plus.
