Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician Assistant to join our team. As an Electrician Assistant, you will work alongside experienced electricians to assist with various electrical tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field and develop your skills.Duties:
- Assist electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Follow instructions and learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Assist with running electrical wiring and conduit
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under the guidance of experienced electricians
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems
- Experience in frame carpentry is a plus
