What You'll Do

As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced electricians while developing the hands-on skills needed to advance your electrical construction career.

Conduit Installation

Assist Journeymen and Craftsmen with installation of rigid, aluminum, Plasti-Bond, and PVC conduit

Use or learn to use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders

Assist with conduit layout and installation

Fabricate and install conduit supports

Cable Tray, Wire & Cable

Assist with installation of cable tray and tube tray

Install wire and cable in conduit and cable tray

Assist with manual and mechanical wire pulls

Support installation of electrical equipment and related systems

Electrical & Instrumentation Support

Assist experienced craft professionals with electrical and instrumentation construction

Assist with installation of instrument tubing and air piping

Use electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and standard hand tools

Assist with material handling and installation activities

Jobsite Responsibilities

Follow applicable safety rules and project requirements

Follow direction from Journeymen, Foremen, and project supervision

Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work areas

Assist with demolition, material handling, cleanup, and other construction activities

Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently

Previous industrial or advanced manufacturing experience is a plus, but isn't required.

Requirements

Strong candidates should have:

Previous electrical or construction experience

Basic knowledge of electrical construction and applicable safety practices

Ability and willingness to learn electrical construction skills

Experience using hand and power tools

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew

Commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and workmanship

Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening

Ability to pass applicable background checks
