Job Description
- Electrical Apprentice
- About the Position
- We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as an Electrical Apprentice. This is an entry-level position and no prior electrical experience is required. Under the direct supervision of our licensed electricians, you will receive hands-on training and gain the foundational skills necessary to build a long-term career in the electrical trade.
- Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman and master electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Prepare and stage materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations
- Complete required coursework or apprenticeship program training as directed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervising electricians
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary — a willingness to learn is what matters most
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions
- Must be able and willing to work in confined spaces, including attics and crawl spaces
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Must be at least 18 years of age
