Based out of Asheville, NC, Sugar Hollow Solar offers energy solutions for homes, farms, small businesses and other commercial properties by designing and installing solar electric systems (rooftop or ground-mounted), battery backup systems and EV charger stations, as well as, systems maintenance. Sugar Hollow Solar is hiring a brand new Electrical Helper! This position primarily assists the Electrical Crew Leader in the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, performing tasks such as carrying materials, preparing work areas, running wires, securing components and cleaning up sites, while gaining hands-on experience in the solar electrical field; this role requires basic electrical knowledge and the ability to follow instructions precisely under the supervision of a licensed electrician. Our ideal candidate brings prior experience and a basic understanding of electrical concepts and safety protocol, a high attention to detail and ability to follow precise direction, loves problem-solving and pitching in to help the team succeed and believes in the power of renewable energy!
