  • Job Summary and Qualifications
  • As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal ICU (NICU) unit, you will provide leadership which facilities the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. You will utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
  • You will oversee the delivery of patient care for a group of patients and direct patient are based on patient acuity and staff availability.
  • You will provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care processes indicated to adhere to legal, ethical and competency level of staff.
  • You will collaborate and consult with patients, colleagues and interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired outcomes.
  • You will provide education for self, staff, colleagues, patients and/or families.
  • What qualifications you will need:

Required Education:

Associates Degree of Science in Nursing +

Preferred Education:

Bachelors Degree +

Required License/Certifications:

Must have and maintain current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON +

Required Experience:

Must have one year of nursing experience +

Certificate:

BLS Healthcare Provider + NRP must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date +

Preferred License/Certifications:

National Certification in area of specialty
