This role encompasses a wide variety of skills depending on the department where you are placed. For example, you may assist other employees with cleaning, operating machinery, welding, plumbing/pipefitting, ductwork, carpentry, or electrical work. 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
Responsibilities:
Assist other trades employees in your department as directed (e.g. Welders, Pipefitters, Electricians, etc.) Handle material Use power tools (e.g. circular saw, drill, reciprocating saw, etc.) Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies Work in a fast-paced team environment
Education Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school education or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
Ability to read a tape measure required Ability to read blueprints preferred Ability to work independently and on a team Strong verbal communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and climb ladders throughout the shift Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
