Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Helper Technician to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Your hands-on support will be vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to code standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in electrical systems installation and gain valuable construction site experience while working alongside seasoned professionals. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and electrical system installation on commercial and industrial sites Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate installations Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to perform wiring tasks and troubleshoot issues Follow all electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance (National Fire Protection Association standards for electrical safety) and NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols Prepare work areas by organizing materials, measuring conduit runs, and assisting with blueprint reading for precise execution Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following construction site safety standards and reporting hazards promptly Experience Prior experience assisting with industrial or commercial electrical projects is highly preferred Familiarity with electrical schematic reading, blueprint interpretation, and conduit bending techniques Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as ohmmeters in a construction or maintenance setting Knowledge of electrical wiring practices for both low voltage and high voltage systems Understanding of electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 standards and NEC regulations Construction site experience working on commercial or industrial projects is advantageous Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a focus on safety and quality Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering top-tier electrical solutions! Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
