Job Description
Job Summary Generator Electrician Helper responsibility is to assist the Electrician with the installation of generators and or other electrical circuitry by running wire, electrical connections, preparing the area for generator placement, job documentation, and other duties as requested. E & W Electrical, LLC, a family-owned company in business since 1984, focuses on complete generator solutions for residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of automatic generators including load management circuitry and multi-layer surge protection. Assist in electrical service work including outlet replacements, fixture installations, control equipment, feeder installations, and electric car chargers. Plan material usage to minimize waste. Document materials used in each installation. Assist Generator Service Technicians as required for service or repair. Dedication to reading provided documentation regarding generators and their function. Learn theories associated with electron movement through use of combustion engines, battery, or photovoltaic. Qualifications Experience in electrical field with a minimum of 1-year residential experience, and a total of 2 years combined residential and/or commercial trade experiences. Valid NC driver's license and a good driving record. Demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools. Employees provide their own hand tools. Workman mindset, problem solver. High School Diploma or GED. Related technical school program preferred. Excellent physical condition to perform job responsibilities which include, but not limited to, heavy lifting, extended periods of standing, working in small spaces.
