Job Description Job Description Job Description TradeWise Staffing Group is hiring experienced lead for a large-scale commercial water reclamation facility project in Holly Springs, NC. This role is responsible for leading crews in the safe and efficient installation of underground PVC conduit, assisting with the placement and setting of pull boxes and electrical vaults, and helping ensure all work is completed to project specifications, code requirements, and schedule. This is steady, long-term work on a multi-year build with real room to grow your skills and your pay. Key Responsibilities Lead and work alongside crew members in the installation of commercial underground duct bank systems. Install underground PVC conduit according to plans, elevations, and project specifications. Assist with the layout, placement, and setting of pull boxes and electrical vaults. Coordinate trench preparation, conduit spacing, bends, stub-ups, and routing to ensure proper installation. Direct daily crew activities and help assign tasks to maintain production goals. Work closely with equipment operators during trenching, setting structures, and backfilling operations. Inspect materials, tools, and completed work for quality and compliance. Maintain a safe jobsite and enforce company safety standards, OSHA requirements, and safe excavation practices. Identify and help resolve field issues involving underground routing, conflicts, elevations, and installation sequencing. Communicate progress, material needs, and jobsite concerns to supervisors and project management. Support project closeout activities, including punch-list completion and final inspections. Qualifications 4 to 5+ years' experience in underground utility, electrical, or commercial construction work preferred. Proven experience installing PVC conduit systems for underground electrical distribution. Experience assisting with or setting pull boxes, handholes, and electrical vaults. Ability to read construction drawings and follow underground layout plans. Knowledge of safe trenching, excavation awareness, and underground installation methods. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
