This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while supporting licensed electricians in various tasks. The Electrician Assistant will be involved in both residential projects, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance of electrical systems. A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Assist electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to perform tasks effectively. Help with low voltage wiring installations for various applications. Support frame carpentry tasks as needed during electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team. Requirements Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
