An Electrician's Assistant works under the direction of a qualified electrician and assists with installing electrical wiring and lighting or making repairs or upgrades to wiring, outlets or other parts of electrical systems.
Why You May Love Working With Us We know choosing where you work matters, too. At SDGF, you'll be joining a small, home-based childcare program where you can actually get to know the children, celebrate their milestones, and see the impact of your work.
A few things about us:
We're open Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM — no weekends. We're closed for most major holidays . We have an established curriculum that guides what our children are learning throughout the year. Our team works together to turn that curriculum into fun, age-appropriate lesson plans and hands-on experiences. We believe children learn through doing—so expect sensory bins, painting, music, movement, outdoor play, crafts, experiments, and occasionally a very messy table! Because we're a smaller program, you'll have the opportunity to really know our children and watch their development over time. We value ideas. If you have a great activity or a creative way to teach something, we want to hear it. There is opportunity for growth within SDGF , including increased responsibilities and future compensation growth based on performance, reliability, initiative, professional development, and commitment to the program. We also want to be upfront about what matters to us: dependability is extremely important. Children thrive on consistency, and in a small childcare program, every team member plays an important role. We're looking for someone who takes showing up, being on time, communicating, and being present with the children seriously. You don't have to know everything on your first day. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn, accepts feedback, brings positive energy, and genuinely wants to become better at what they do. Most importantly, we want someone who likes being with children . Not just supervising them—talking with them, playing with them, teaching them, comforting them, getting silly with them, and celebrating the little accomplishments that are a very big deal in their world.
