York's Jolly Light Installers LLC Overview York's Jolly Light Installers LLC is seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our seasonal team as Christmas Light Installers . This hands-on position involves the setup, installation, takedown, and occasional adjustment of decorative holiday lighting and accessories at residential and commercial properties. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable on ladders and rooftops, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced seasonal environment. Prior experience in general labor, roofing, landscaping, or electrical work is helpful but not required — we provide on-the-job training. Responsibilities Install Christmas lights and decorations on homes, trees, shrubs, and commercial buildings. Safely operate ladders, 55Ft Man lifts, and hand tools during installations and removals. Read and follow site layouts, lighting diagrams, and customer specifications. Troubleshoot and repair light strands and minor electrical components when needed. Secure and re-hang fallen lights upon client request during the display season. Load, unload, and organize lighting materials at job sites and company storage. Communicate professionally with clients and team members to ensure quality service. Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent injury or damage to property. Maintain clean workspaces and assist with cleanup after installation or removal. Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (cold, light snow, wind). Comfortable working at heights (rooftops, ladders up to 32 feet). Able to lift 70+ pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods. Basic knowledge of hand tools (drills, clips, extension cords, etc.). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Must have reliable transportation to job sites or central meeting point. Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings, as needed. Preferred (but not required): Experience in general labor, landscaping, roofing, or electrical work. Familiarity with basic electrical connections (extension cords, timers, outlets). Driver's license (for crew leads or designated drivers).
