Job Title:

Appliance Installation Assistant Job Summary:

The Appliance Installation Assistant supports lead technicians in delivering, installing, and setting up household appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and ovens. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn technical skills on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting appliances to customer locations Help install and connect appliances according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines Provide support with measuring spaces, leveling appliances, and securing proper connections (water, gas, electrical) Maintain a clean and safe work area during and after installation Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions about the product Follow directions from the lead installer and complete tasks efficiently Help remove old appliances and dispose of packaging materials Keep tools organized and report any equipment issues to the supervisor Follow all company safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience in delivery, construction, or installation (a plus, but not required) Ability to lift and move heavy appliances (up to 100 lbs) with assistance Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good communication skills and polite customer interaction Valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred)

Work Environment & Schedule:

Full-time or part-time, may include weekends Work involves traveling to different residential and commercial locations Must be comfortable working in various environments (indoors and outdoors)

Physical Requirements:
