Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Electrical Helper to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while assisting skilled electricians in various tasks. The Electrical Helper will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, contributing to both commercial and industrial projects. Duties Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Help troubleshoot electrical issues using testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of electrical systems. Skills Basic understanding of electrical systems, including knowledge of industrial and commercial electrician practices. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is preferred. Ability to operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take on new challenges in the field.
