Pay Rate:

$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30

PM Saturday:

7:00 AM-3:30

PM Work Schedule:

Currently operating on a 6-day workweek

Overtime:

Paid after 40 hours worked

Additional Hours:

Occasional extended hours until approximately 7:30

Near Richey St & Galveston Rd Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Electrician Helper to assist the Electrician, Supervisor, and Lead Man with the installation and assembly of electrical systems in units during regular operations. The Electrician Helper will support the electrical crew by preparing materials, handling tools, assisting with rough-in and final trim-out activities, and helping maintain a safe and organized work environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic electrical experience who is looking to continue developing their skills in the electrical trade. Essential Job Functions Assist the Electrician and Lead Man with electrical installation activities. Assist with electrical rough-in and final trim-out work. Help measure, cut, pull, and route electrical wiring and cable under the direction of the Electrician. Assist with installation of electrical components, fixtures, conduit, and related materials. Gather and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for assigned work. Help identify and communicate material shortages or missing supplies to the Electrician or Supervisor. Assist with reading and following basic electrical prints, blueprints, and schematics as directed. Assist with basic AC/DC electrical work under supervision. Assist with data and communication wiring as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow instructions from the Electrician, Lead Man, and Supervisor. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Properly use and maintain hand tools and equipment. Perform other duties related to electrical installation and production as assigned. Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and in a timely manner. Qualifications Previous electrical helper, electrical installation, construction, or related hands-on experience preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical tools, materials, and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work under the direction of an experienced Electrician. Ability to learn and understand basic electrical prints and schematics. Familiarity with electrical wiring, conduit, or electrical components is a plus. Must be comfortable working with hand and power tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to work a 6-day schedule and overtime as needed. Must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to learn. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
