Job Description
Immediate start. We are hiring now and can put the right person to work within a few days of applying. XenerPower USA is staffing an electrician helper crew for an industrial equipment installation at the HCTI facility in Sealy, Texas. You will work alongside licensed electricians installing conduit, cable, panelboards, and switchgear on an active project site. This is hands-on field work. Prior electrical experience helps but is not required. What matters is that you show up on time, follow direction, and work safely. Hours and overtime The project is on a tight schedule, so there is steady overtime for people who want it. Expect 40 hours as a baseline, with regular overtime beyond that and some Saturday work. Overtime is paid at 1.5x after 40 hours. If you are looking to put in hours and earn, there is work here. Where this can go This starts as a project assignment, but we are building a permanent field crew. Helpers who show up on time, work safely, and pick up the trade move into full-time positions with XenerPower and travel between our project sites across Texas as new jobs come up. If you want steady long-term work in the electrical trade rather than a one-off job, tell us in your application. What you will do Assist licensed electricians with conduit bending, cutting, and installation Pull and terminate wire and cable under supervision Move, stage, and set panelboards, transformers, and switchgear Use hand and power tools and maintain a clean, safe work area Load and unload materials and keep the job site organized Follow all site safety rules, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures What you need Available to start immediately or within about a week Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. The site is on I-10 west of Katy with no public transit access. Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet all day Comfortable working outdoors in Texas heat and at heights on ladders or lifts Able to pass a background check and drug screen Texas Apprentice Electrician License (TDLR), or willing to apply within 30 days of hire. It is a 20 dollar online application with no exam and no experience required, and we will walk you through it. Nice to have Previous construction, warehouse, or industrial site experience OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card Bilingual English and Spanish Your own basic hand tools Willingness to travel to other XenerPower job sites in Texas Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM start Regular overtime and some Saturdays Project assignment to start, with a path to full-time work across multiple sites Pay 23 to 30 dollars per hour depending on experience and licensing. Paid weekly. Overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours.
