Full-Time, OnsiteSirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Electrician for a direct-hire opportunity in Dothan, Alabama. This position is ideal for a dependable commercial or industrial electrician who takes pride in clean, professional work and is interested in learning the building automation and controls industry. ResponsibilitiesBend and install EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit.Plan and execute clean, efficient conduit runs on commercial and industrial job sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and construction plans.
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
Use electrical testing equipment and tools to diagnose electrical issues.
Collaborate with project teams and other trades to meet project schedules and deadlines.
Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Participate in training to develop building automation and controls skills.
QualificationsMinimum of three years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
Strong conduit-bending and installation skills.
Ability to work with EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Working knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safe work practices.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Able to pass required background screening and drug testing.
Willingness and motivation to learn building automation and controls.
Preferred QualificationsExperience threading rigid conduit.
Journeyman or Master Electrician certification or license.
Previous exposure to building automation, HVAC controls, low-voltage controls, or industrial automation.
