Job Description

Overview Caribe Inc. is hiring an Electrical Technician / Plant Electrician with hands-on electrical and controls skills. This role offers structured on‑the‑job training for candidates who want to advance into controls, PLC programming, panel wiring, and related trades.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming PLC experience creating
NEW PROGRAMS FROM SEQUENCE OF OPERATIONS

  • Install, wire, and troubleshoot 240/480V three‑phase motors, starters, and disconnects
  • Assemble, wire, and maintain control panels and electrical distribution systems
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs and associated control equipment.
  • Install, test, and service temperature, pressure, and level sensors
  • Install and troubleshoot fire alarm, security, and network cabling
  • Assist with HVAC control systems as needed
  • Support field/construction projects: site wiring, equipment setup, commissioning
  • Follow safety policies and electrical codes; perform lockout/tagout procedures
  • Participate in training and development to advance electrical/control skills
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman/industrial electrician certification or equivalent experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates
  • Experience with 240/480V three‑phase wiring and starters preferred
  • Programming PLC experience creating

  • Panel and control wiring experience preferred
  • Fire alarm, security, or network cabling experience a plus
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for Baldwin County job sites
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in teams
Physical Requirements:
  • Work in industrial plant environments and outdoors at construction sites, often without air conditioning.
  • Must be willing to perform work in our plant or general construction projects in the Orange Beach,AL, general area. Job Posting Request for Electrical Technician

  • Occasional after-hours or emergency response
