Industrial Electrician - LNG Facility Performance Personnel Services, LLC - 3.8 Montgomery, AL Job Details Full-time $36 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Oil & gas OSHA 10 Occupational Safety And Health Administration Outreach Training Program 30-Hour Electrical safety procedures Manufacturing facility experience Hand tools Full Job Description Job Summary Performance Personnel Services (PPS) is seeking experienced Industrial Electricians for work at an LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) facility in Coosada, Alabama . This position requires a strong industrial electrical background, preferably within LNG, natural gas, oil & gas, chemical plants, refineries, power generation, manufacturing facilities, or other heavy industrial environments . The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while following strict site safety procedures and applicable electrical codes. Candidates must be comfortable working in an active industrial facility where safety, quality, and attention to detail are critical. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment. Install and terminate electrical power, control, and instrumentation wiring. Perform cable pulling, routing, dressing, labeling, and terminations. Install and maintain cable tray, conduit, supports, and electrical raceway systems . Bend and install EMT, rigid conduit, and other industrial raceways . Install and terminate motors, disconnects, panels, transformers, motor control equipment, and other electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, controls, and equipment using appropriate testing instruments. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation. Perform electrical work in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and site requirements. Follow site-specific requirements for electrical work in classified/hazardous locations where applicable. Assist with preventive maintenance, shutdown, startup, and electrical repair activities as required. Properly identify circuits and verify electrical systems before beginning work. Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and energized electrical work procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment. Coordinate with supervisors, other electricians, instrumentation personnel, mechanical trades, and facility personnel. Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or potential electrical hazards. Qualifications 3+ years of industrial electrical experience preferred. Previous experience in LNG, natural gas, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power plant, manufacturing, or similar industrial facilities strongly preferred . Strong experience with electrical terminations, cable tray, conduit bending, and cable installation . Ability to troubleshoot industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of motors, motor controls, disconnects, transformers, panels, and industrial power distribution. Understanding of electrical work requirements in hazardous/classified areas is highly preferred. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams. Knowledge of NEC requirements and industrial electrical safety practices. Must be able to work safely around operating industrial equipment and processes. Must have appropriate hand tools for the position. Safety & Site Requirements Candidates must be willing and able to comply with all facility and PPS safety requirements. Must be able to pass drug screening . OSHA 10 required or OSHA 30 plus.
