Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help create a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for all occupants. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills across a variety of maintenance tasks, contributing directly to the smooth running of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components. Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold building standards. Maintain plumbing systems through regular inspection, repair of leaks, pipe replacement, and system troubleshooting. Operate hand tools and specialized equipment to carry out maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and interior building repairs to enhance aesthetic appeal. Follow safety protocols and document all maintenance activities accurately for compliance and record-keeping purposes. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related field with a comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems. Strong electrical experience including electrical work, electrical equipment repair, schematics reading, and use of testing tools such as ohmmeters. Knowledge of HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, and general building interior upkeep. Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and use of hand tools. Ability to read technical schematics and work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration with team members. Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) procedures and safety standards in facilities environments. Valid certifications or training in HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical work or related fields are advantageous; preferred but not required. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
