Job Summary Gillmann Services is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Electricians in Jonesboro for a 2 month position that pays $27-30hr, Monday

• Friday 7am to 3:30pm Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to support automation processes. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical problems effectively. Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical installations during building phases or renovations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection results for project documentation. Assist in upgrading existing electrical systems by replacing outdated components or implementing new solutions. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents on construction sites or within operational facilities. Skills Extensive experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical installations. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems used in industrial settings. Familiarity with NEC standards, high voltage (HV), and low voltage (LV) electrical requirements. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools for installation tasks. Ability to perform troubleshooting using ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment accurately. Experience working on construction sites involving renovation projects or new builds. Strong handyman skills including frame carpentry or general construction knowledge is advantageous. Previous experience with schematic interpretation and installation of complex electrical systems. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
