Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment per local and national electrical codes
  • Perform electrical inspections and diagnose electrical problems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions in industrial, commercial, and residential settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures
  • Test electrical systems for proper functioning and safety
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Qualifications:
  • Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage systems
  • Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and specialized electrical equipment
  • Experience in frame carpentry or maintenance person work is a plus
  • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
