POSITION SUMMARY

The Journeyman Electrician will support the construction and installation of electrical systems in our prefabrication facility in the Chandler, AZ area. This role involves performing code‑compliant electrical work, installing and terminating equipment, and ensuring all tasks meet safety and quality standards. Candidates should be safety‑focused, comfortable working outdoors, and able to maintain a reliable full‑time schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Terminate combiner boxes Panel/LV work Install metering equipment Layout, bend, thread and install conduit Layout and install switchgear, switchboards and electrical devices Trench with shovel and install PVC raceway Pull and terminate aluminum direct bury wire Connect and support DC wire Install electrical enclosures Supervise the work of apprentices Unload and stage material Mounting and terminating transformers Understanding NEC National Electrical Code Perform electrical testing and commissioning

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum age: 18+ Electrical Journeyman License highly preferred Minimum 4 years' experience General knowledge of construction principles/processes required Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction projects Proven commitment to safety and teamwork Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization MBCSkill McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
