About the Role We're adding a reliable part-time Journeyman Electrician to support our commercial projects (tenant improvements, light industrial, and office build-outs). This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who wants steady hours without committing to a full-time schedule, while also bringing versatility in both service and residential work. What You'll Do Install and terminate conduit, wire, devices, lighting (including LED/controls), panels, and gear per plans and NEC Read and interpret drawings (plans, one-lines, risers, schedules) and complete clean, code-compliant installations Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and service-related electrical work for both commercial and residential systems Handle small service calls, repairs, and punch-list work Assist with wiring new residential construction, including homes and casitas Coordinate with general contractors and other trades while maintaining a safe, organized jobsite Occasionally mentor apprentices and assist with material take-offs What You Bring 5+ years of electrical experience (commercial TI, service work, and/or ground-up construction) Strong troubleshooting skills in residential and commercial electrical systems Experience with residential new construction wiring (homes, casitas, or similar) Proficiency in conduit bending (EMT), gear terminations, and lighting controls (0-10V, sensors) Ability to read plans, work independently, and communicate clearly with clients and team members Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 lbs and work from ladders and lifts OSHA-10 is a plus (or willingness to obtain) Schedule Part-time with flexible daytime hours based on project needs; occasional evenings/weekends for shutdowns if you're available.
