This role works independently and with other members of the field team to complete electrical work safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment on commercial construction projects. Install and work with various types of conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical components. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, drawings, and specifications. Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify issues efficiently. Perform electrical installations in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes. Follow NEC requirements, company safety policies, and jobsite safety procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary to complete electrical work. Coordinate with Foremen, other electricians, and other trades on assigned projects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Identify potential issues and communicate them to the Foreman or project leadership. Assist with training and mentoring apprentices as needed. Maintain quality workmanship throughout all phases of the project. Qualifications 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience. Journeyman Electrician experience in a commercial construction environment. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation practices. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and project specifications. Experience installing and bending conduit. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues. Knowledge of NEC requirements and electrical safety regulations while working with low and high voltage systems. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on active construction sites. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
