1+ year project Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled I&C (Instrumentation & Control) Electrician to join our team and drive excellence in industrial electrical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical and instrumentation systems within manufacturing or industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of machinery, automation systems, sensors, and control panels, contributing to operational efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems, sensors, and instrumentation equipment in accordance with schematics and technical specifications. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and calibration instruments; diagnose faults in low voltage and high voltage systems. Program, configure, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and other automation devices to optimize manufacturing processes. Read and interpret detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, AutoCAD drawings, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery including CNC machines, vision inspection systems, sensors, hydraulic components, and mechanical parts to minimize downtime. Conduct field service activities involving troubleshooting on-site equipment at customer facilities or manufacturing plants. Support calibration activities for precision measuring instruments to maintain system accuracy; assist with sensor alignment and calibration procedures. Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades involving E&I modifications or mechanical enhancements; contribute to safety audits and compliance documentation. Utilize tools such as Calypso software for testing or configuration tasks; work with high-voltage systems safely following established protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and system modifications to ensure compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or I&C electrician within manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, sensors, calibration techniques, and precision measuring instruments. Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), vision inspection systems, CNC machinery, and AutoCAD drawings. Familiarity with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems; ability to work safely around energized equipment. Ability to read schematics thoroughly and interpret technical manuals accurately; experience with E&I diagrams is essential. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery maintenance including hydraulic components and mechanical assemblies. Experience working in field service environments providing customer support directly at client sites. Knowledge of calibration procedures for sensors and instrumentation used in industrial processes. Familiarity with industry standards such as those used in military applications or manufacturing sectors is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities; committed to safety protocols at all times.
