Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on, safety‑minded Technical Service Representative to support Electric Rope Shovel repairs at customer mine sites—primarily in the Safford & Morenci area. You'll spend your days troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on electric rope shovels, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with major capital rebuilds and overhauls. If you enjoy solving electrical problems, working outdoors, and supporting customers, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities Electric rope shovel troubleshooting, inspection and audit teams. Accurately report machine condition, repair/maintenance recommendations, time to repair/service. Facilitate development of maintenance strategies that promote safety, system reliability, and the reduction of unplanned down time. Assist electricians with installations and wiring of electric rope shovels. Troubleshoot issues as needed Fabricate or modify electrical components to meet specific operational requirements Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe work environment Requirements 3+ years experience working on electric rope shovels Ability to work up to ~60 hour/week in the Morenci area Strong electrical diagnostics skills Able to work a flexible schedule Excellent problem-solving skills combined with mechanical knowledge for complex diagnostics Clean driving record

Pay:

$35.00 - $53.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
